1. With a branch he sways in gentle motion
Touching hearts, earning their forgiveness with his gaze

2. I gave him a cup, as if its draught
Was from his sweet saliva or his cheeks

3. Until intoxication pulled at his shoulders
And he inclined towards union in his joy

4. I plucked a tender branch from him
I picked no fruit but the permitted
