1. O my steed, proceed towards Syria
And cut the bridges and banners

2. And challenge those who oppose the Imam
Verily I hope, if I meet the army

3. To gather the tyrannical clan of Umayyah
That we may kill the impure and the ambitious

4. And bring down towering men
