13. Like your nine paternal uncles
Of bright faces, most honorable, excellent,

14. Branches and murmuring voices, and 'Amir and 'Umayr
The chieftains of the people of hillocks and people of caves,

15. And Mu'awwad accustomed to the red camels was a guarantor for their severity

16. And the one sought out a lion and the bull of the tribe
So their carpenter is like the best of carpenters,

17. And Yazid and the son of Yazid attained an extent
In glory and ignited with a glowing brand,

18. Honor and bounty, father after father, when

19. And speech reached them - their ancient deeds -
So they surged upon morsels and the pressing of marks,

20. It suffices that an incessant kinship connects them;
No spurious ancestry interrupts them,

21. The gaze is too short between them and their neighbors
Until their protected domains become clear,

22. The patient ones every day on their guard
And the victors every day charging forth,

23. From the nostrils of protectors spreading their palms
With a handful that is no meagre portion or want,

24. They guarantee for whoever dwells among them
Dubiety of time and the contraction of poverty,

25. And the neighbor amidst them, his bestowal increases
With the sequence of annihilations and ruins,

26. And I shall fashion for Khalid and his folk
A praise that plunges for him into every cave,

27. And which overflows if they gather and recite poetry
Apart from the companionship of distinguished glory,

28. O uncle, not any she-camel like you has poured
From a baby camel from Yemen and ligneous Tihama,

29. After the son of Amina the prophet Muhammad
The best of all people and the elect of the Compeller,

30. A hand more generous for a tribe from his wealth
Without miserliness or withholding,

31. And he spent after a gap for a tremendous passion

34. And he exerted further care and achieved more assault

35. And he indicated with advice what had never

36. A statement and defense of Muhammad's religion
While right has partisans and has allies,

37. And he desired, after being cautious that his vein not be severed
Until he kills every cautious one's vein,

38. And he exerted himself when time was difficult with latitude
In comfort, and deemed a neighbor's inviolability mighty,

39. And he strove when the time was difficult with latitude
In the refusal of each partnership and wealth,

40. Were you not a man, you would be, with what you see,
Flesh whose merits even contentious wranglers concede,

41. A falcon who hunts when it goes out with its wing
And with its beak, and hunts with the talons,

42. Who accomplishes matters without the slowness of slowness
From what he undertakes, without timidity,

43. Like a sword the burnishing purified it and its determination
Protected it through the skulls of the unbelievers,

44. By day its interior is empowered by its strength
And by it there are conduits for different concerns,

45. And most of them spend the night silent as if he were

46. A sovereign who makes loud his praises when his wealth
And praise, when aid is absent, vanish,

47. And when souls are fearful and Khalid reassures,
Certainty is fixed in destiny's inevitability,

48. Whoever takes riches, so treasures

49. Two treasures whose hoarded store benefits you

50. And prayers for what the God ordered be joined
In what is said increases lifespans,

51. It makes the senior notables slight with its dew

52. And it waters the thick clouds with its cloud-burst until they become

Generosity that serves tomorrow without dupery,

55. I hope for and anticipate every year a breath
From you that knocks at the ribs of destitution,

56. Happily I die and no desire has tempted me;
I am pure in the interiors of harboring,

57. And the benefit you have unveiled for me produced
Greenery unto a wrapping from the trees,

58. And an entity thrived whose relative
Was hoped for in his flowing rain,

59. So if I assume good fortune, he rightfully kindled for it,
And if I pull back, a fire has ignited for me,

60. Your habit does not vanish when it comes
From you, even if my journeys disappear,

61. And if you want to see my treasures because of you
You will see the treasure of a worn-out lambskin flask,

62. I feel pride altogether even if property stretches out
My hand and my justification,

63. And your habit is for my like remembrance
In lineage when the owners of memorials are absent,

64. And of the habit is that which again helps
The assailants while they insist,

65. Feather the arrows of whoever shoots behind you struggling
The throw striving and winning perils,

66. Do not leave flexible bows and arrows of companions
Below me adorning them in eagle feathers,

67. And gather back your arrows then pound theirbindings
With the pounding of the gambler with good fortunes,

68. Do not leave them neglected so their solutions fail
And they go astray when the bowstrings are plucked,

69. And prepare for your arrows a testing wetter and installer
Who makes the fortress's arrows correct,

70. Who shows the smoothness from the coarse and a sharpener

71. And be cautious and look into speech for it

72. For there the face of each ripener shows

75. Until you've left their vicinity delighted
And the earth shines with its little sand dunes,

76. And you have abbreviated bounty for Tamim
And generalized benefaction upon various sands,

77. Sufficing whichever of them sought it thereby with wealth
And those marrying the burdens of in-laws,

78. And the overflow of descent - but all its heavens -
And the clouds of your sea forever streaming,

79. No one who passed attained it while its pursuit
Remained in their tracks from the vestiges,

80. A matter you hoarded for it and it was a store
For you when destinations of fates unravel,

81. And when you've held to a pact from Khalid
Then intend thereby to strike the breasts,

82. And feel safe just as Hamama, the she-dove, felt safe

83. O uncle, you are the soundness of what - had you not been -
Its passes would have cleft unto the lands,

84. And the example with refusal of each lofty entity
So it stands with spheres and perils,
