1. The awe and dew have clothed
The day of pride over life and sword

2. A group with valor among men, their glance
Is the glance of the sublime hunting the gazelles

3. His praise and pride spread through the countries
And his abode among them in the land of Mosul

4. The kings envied his abode, so they ascended
To a peak, which without him would not be climbed

5. When they listened to the news of him
The unjust turned just, and the miserly became generous

6. He protects you before victory with his might
And bestows blessings without even being asked

7. A fire, if angered
And with pleasure is the coolness of flowing water

8. So the protector of al-Din kept away harm
Lord of time, the longest extent of time

9. Subduing the shields and mail coats, his might
Is the perdition of custom at dawn and decay at dusk

10. Gratitude for your deed to the cousin of Muhammad
Crown of the sublime and son of excellent lineage

11. His feats and battles have awakened
And you have shown him the dawn of joy after

12. The worries dispersed like the wings of a long night
