2. I said wonder not for many a silent one
In state and heart is speaking volumes

3. Verily Islam's tenets please all tastes
And by them the two weighty evidences stand proven

4. O Kamal al-Din this speech suffices
Thee, and for excuse in thy aim acceptance

5. Thou art in discourse an impenetrable shield
And in resolve a drawn sword

6. Thy courageous piercing view in war
And the spear and assault have recoiled

7. Souls dread thy might, and if thou showest favour A parched land, thy generosity the hoped for rain
Thou art feast of the sublime, congratulations on the feast

8. And each is occupied with his role
Except that joy from thee is lasting

9. A day in the year then disappears
