1. God has dispelled the sorrows' shadows, and the dawn
Of joy has shone with a bright whiteness,

2. And kept far away the grievous ills from the abode of highness
With gifts of bounty manifest in their lineaments.

3. And by the splendor of the faith he has turned from the folly of childishness,
And still he has clemency along with burdens momentous.

4. But fair dealing is the quality of his soul
And his forebears in every land and place of migration.

5. So no reversal of your fortunes comes to you from fate thereafter,
Nor have you slipped from lofty peaks hazardous.
