Yet his composure has bases and structures.

8. Scorching in safeguarding, ardent in zeal,
And gentle in peace, pure in means.

9. Like a lion felling all lofty horns,
Or rain reviving all dormant ruins.

10. Aspiring in glory drove him to claim
Each feat, the quest of every splendid hero.

11. Of purebred nobles, when they claim ancestry,
Every skeptic surrenders and casts off pride.

12. Racing to the cry of the poor, and riches
Of the needy, the heights, and all praises combined.

13. Through him, feasts were blessed with safety,
Enduring through time, immortal in bounty.
