And guide you to the right judgment and inspire you.

2. You continue to be hoped for wherever you are, and feared,
Spreading might among men, and favors.

3. You are the dew when the year is parched with summer,
And you are the shelter when the horseman of war recoils.

4. A column, if you are called on for help and summoned,
Overflowing, pouring generosity and blood.

5. When the souls of the people are tempted by greed,
You become the most chaste of spirits, and the most generous.

6. My thoughts about you outrun my words,
So I praise you before I even speak.

7. You meet insolence with forbearance in fury and fray,
Patience, devastation, havoc and turmoil.
