1. May Allah not deprive my eyes of seeing him,
With his bright face, blessings are sweet with him,

2. The knight of valor and boundless generosity, when
The inferior bows and the land and spear triumph,

3. The scion of the Caliphate and the breast that my nation witnessed
Through his merit, the plains and the hills and the valleys,

4. And who else but Muḍar made it clear,
The red sands that the nations submitted to him,

5. He descended from Tameem in Mukhllaqa,
A perfumed land beyond the reach of ambitions,

6. From the Abode of Darim, where
Neither the soft sands nor the salty grounds are divided,

7. So none but the honor of religion and praise remains,
His efforts have brought nobility and decorum.
