1. How can I forget you, while the virtuous ones
Are errors like stars in the darkness

2. He brought them from Mu'ayyad al-Din al-Nawawi
The valiant one with cool blessings

3. So his protection and the outpouring of his generosity
Have never ceased to bring aid and gifts

4. His face is bright, and he meets circumstances suitably
Generous in meeting and ancestry

5. His view and stewardship surpassed
Indian teak and cane in firmness

6. Though fire excels in inflammability
With him, kindness has the gentleness of water

7. So by the grace of God he is protected
From the evils of fate by its driving away
