1. God decrees as He wills, so be content with His will
Be thankful, for God's blessings remain with gratitude

2. Stay safe, for great things are delightful
In their arrangement between your prohibition and command

3. For the days have the blossoms of flowers
With your face, O son of glorious ancestors, O Bani Nadhr

4. I knew you while the days had arduous tribulations
That detract the faces of the jokers, despite their youth

5. You are most noble, though blamed, you nurture composure
And glad tidings upon the forbidden and sacred dawn

6. More bitter than aloes' bitterness, protecting morality
And sweetest consent among people like a spring for mankind

7. And who like the minister Zainabi, defending
And spending generosity in fears and dust

8. Stronger than the clamorous army in victory
And more beneficial in the country than rain

9. When the aggressor is harsh upon him
And what sympathetic one in his councils of righteousness

10. So his reputation remains, even if the enemy is reluctant
