1. The heavy, dense rain sometimes pours down
And sometimes a pourer makes it flow gently

2. But the generosity of Muhammad exceeds the clouds' rainfall
So every dew of his palms is pouring rain and downpour

3. When he is determined, the towering mountains are steadfast
And in his resolve, the sharp swords flash bright

4. He carried the pillar of high religion without any inheritance
And strived until he attained perfection in glory

5. He accomplished his people’s hopes, an ultimate goal
And excelled what the predecessors were unable to achieve

6. The mornings and the gentle winds freshen
With the tales of his glory and the spreading of his nobility

7. Even this sword trembles for benevolence
As if it were a polished blade tested by the whetstones

8. The seekers of his generosity are satisfied
While his thoughts and passions remain zealous

9. The slightest shame weakens the load on his honor
But he carries the burdens of noble deeds

10. A young man whose adornments in battle and peace
Are his virtuousness, while for enemies he is severe and deadly

11. The fertile rainclouds sing his praises
So the torrential rain pours and the valley streams overflow

12. When the polished goblets are filled, they shine
While to him their aversion is destructive and fatal

13. The night wrapped him in conversation as if
For every word there were a pasture and loving friend

14. So neither is the deep water deceitful, nor the shadow deceptive
Nor the harsh terrain spiteful, nor the rugged path dreadful

15. Trusting that the resting place is fertile,
A caravan can live there and camel litters be protected

16. When the sweet creek gurgles, its bliss
Makes the slender bodies and shoulders bend

17. The son of high ambition inhabits the fertile land
His dwellings are dwellings for those who seek refuge

18. The beauty of the earth, protector of sanctuaries, generous with dew
Swift to the villages and the years darkened with sorrows

19. Slow to punish sins but quick to give victory
And to urgently help those crying for aid

20. So he was congratulated on the feast which all its pride
Is its height, and the strivings are its clear signs
