1. The wonders of God's land are manifold
But the most wondrous is the one of noble traits

2. Perfection eluded people yet he attained it whole
Flawless, while deficiency is the mark of one resigned

3. Courage and valor, kindness and mercy
Generosity like heavy rain pouring forth

4. Knowledge hidden by rule, latent
Yet evident when contending and debating

5. God-fearing in his solitude
Seeking reward through contemplating the consequences

6. His generosity demeans the destitute out of pride
But for aiding neighbors he's keen and open

7. Loyal to covenants of old with his affection
A fortress fortified against misfortune and affliction

8. Victorious for God's religion, the glorious one
Through whom the world gleams brighter and seems wholesome

9. So congratulations to the fasting month, and to all time
