1. You blessed my morning, O son of Muhammad's uncle
And you have remained gracious throughout time

2. You are the most handsome of the living in face and comfort
And the most clement and protective in forbearance

3. A father whose neck the men bow down submissively
Bold when the horseman of calamity recoils

4. Dignified when the heedlessness of each complacent one rages
Eloquent when the mouths of the people murmur incoherently

5. A white full moon brings me joy from you
When the formidable events frown

6. It brought ease to the weary glory with effort and contained
A guarded place that had been divided and dispersed

7. And I swear however large a darkened chest I esteemed
Among the people, yours in my eye was the greatest

8. And I never esteemed my own soul's pacts with the sons of nobility
Above your pact which was the most noble

9. You are a flaming brand in recollection
And a torrent when the rain withheld has swollen

10. And I am compelled to speak praise doubly for you
And I wake up remembering only you

11. You remained the right hand of the state against the rent of what transpired
Neither breeze nor darkness nor stars
