1. O best of Allah's creations, inspire the diligent
To intend good deeds and purify their souls

2. And aid them with success and hope
Ever pleased with Him, thankful is Allah

3. And guide their judgment in every difficult issue
Until it leads to secured, cautious solutions

4. For he is refined, of sublime traits
Bitter sorrows sweetened for me by his friendship

5. Smiling face and radiant brow
As if his aura was made of joyful tidings

6. And he humbly serves people with affection
As if the Holy House's servant was his drinking buddy

7. As if the mention of him in any gathering
Spreads his generosity at the start of it

8. Indeed, the Caliph's choice of him
Is the mother of virtues, O Allah, may it persist

9. The Hand of Power endowed him, watchful and alert
A towering mountain and a sword that makes his adversaries weep

10. When the sharp edges of the swords hankered for hope
It embraced him and brought him closer to its tombs

11. Steadfast he remains while the people are fickle
Wielding his blade as ruin wails with its storms
