4. Ranks he left due to his preoccupation,
With his love instead of the love of a gazelle and an oryx.

5. So the glory and the heart from his ambition,
Between implementing a garden and meadow.

6. And over the living there is an overwhelming debt,
The enemy spreads it, having a long hope.

7. Whenever he rises, the limits of fate prevent him,
Like insurmountable strong fortifications.

8. Oh my people, what an outstanding raid,
That mixes the innocent with the sick.

9. It makes the horseman hurry away from his fortification,
And the wounded one from bandaging his wound.

10. So recognizing glory is far, and I have not
Borne myself upon the great horror.

11. And the striking of tents in encampments,
Where the incense burner scents with the breeze.

12. With the retainers of a morning like lamps,
And racing steeds like stars.

13. Racing she-camels that shake the earth,
With men like the towering Hannan.

14. A day when the beautiful slave girl is no intercessor,
With the critic, nor is the love of a friend.

15. And the clamor of beating overwhelmed,
The anxious mother from the crying infant.

16. And the brave youth threw himself,
So you see every brave one like Kalim.

17. The weakest of them attacked fiercely,
The slick spear in the flank of the retreating one.

18. I guarantee courage, and glory
Guarantees for me the fruitless kingdom.

19. And the sons of Zoraa busied themselves with their joking,
Distracted from bearing the burdens of worries.

20. They thought I was one of them, just as
The people wrongly identified Rahim as Rajim.

21. I am not one of you in your affairs,
A protector of the past, while my abode is fortified.

22. That this one with tent poles is a father to me,
Generous in gifts, protecting the sanctuary.

23. Striking the dome for refugees, and injustice
Has taken the oppressed in its grip.

24. When there is no command of the Prophet, obedience
That necessitates rule, nor the jurist's decree.

25. If only my horses were seen scattered,
Hordes of the living, mounted with dignity.

26. The enemies flee like the poverty,
That expelled the young servant of the Generous.
