1. The virtuous have allowed you their virtues,
So excellence is far from any arrogance.

2. You have excelled in valor and in generosity,
So the envious are the white clouds and gray clouds.

3. The witnesses have declared what you surpassed in:
The sword, the pens, and the books.

4. Every glory has loved you, excelling one,
So, apart from you, endeavor and lineage missed the mark.

5. You are the splendor of the religion of God through which
The active bore witness and the title was recorded.

6. It adorns rhymed prose when you are praised in it,
Inciting wonder and joy.

7. Joyfully mentioning polished swords and spears
With no doubt in the perfection of their pride.

8. So you alone are an era, excelling
In virtue, and some of its months are Rajab.

9. The ascent of your ancestors forever,
Unattainable by any ambition or climbing of heights.

10. You remain as long as the doves moan and
As long as darkness gathers and eras revolve.
