1. What stirred my heart was the song of the driver

14. I complain to you, O Messenger of God, of what I suffer
From troubles that have exhausted my skin

15. I have crossed sixty springs mixed
With sickness from burdens compressing my intestines

16. One weakness added to another while both
Weaken the strength of my body and stand alone

17. I bear witness that you are the best of people born
No female equal to you has given birth or will give birth

18. And no human has competed with you in noble ancestry
Nor has anyone attained the rank your hands attained

19. You were transferred from every good and pure womb
To every immaculate womb free from misery

20. You went through the loins of our father as the place of descent
And the loin of Noah while the deluge engulfs the land with foam

21. You were concealed in Abraham’s loin
While Nimrod’s fire, the most wretched of people, blazes

22. And your light embraced Ishmael whom he bids farewell
To his blessed children until it embraced Dedan

23. And Adnan attained the highest rank in ancestry
Not diminished for him as your mention exalted it

24. It continued to be in Ma’ad then in Mudar
And Hashim with you has the crown of honor fastened

25. Until Abdullah took over his position
From the white hair of praise as wishes were fulfilled

26. And since Amina became pregnant, her face shone
With lights despite the heaviness of her belly

27. And the land shone since you were born and the Sacred House was delighted
And gained Paradise adorned in green

28. You were the best prophet in the eyes of our Creator
And Adam’s soul was not revived without your body

29. I see your name inscribed above the Throne
A position not given to anyone else

30. So when he repented, the Lord of worshipers invoked you
And He truly relented to him, the One, the Absolute

31. And you on the day when people are resurrected, are their master
Your blessed followers cannot be numbered

32. You on that day give good tidings if they despair
You on it are the preacher if they come

33. In your hands is the banner of praise then for you is
The Pool of Abundance when the sun comes close

34. You have the intercession during plights and agonizing heat
And at Hellfire with blazing flames

35. And with the attachment you gain an exalted
Station which He adored you with, The Mighty and Everlasting

36. Your love is a prerequisite in our faith
Without it the self, wealth and children are relinquished

37. I ask the Originator of bounties upon you till
Judgment Day with no decrease or end

38. To favor me with seeing you bringing relief
And saving the heart that is persecuted

39. And intercede with God to make my final days good
For it is in you after God that I seek help
