1. O Messenger of Allah, the King whom
God has guided us by from every wilderness

2. I heard a narration transmitted
That gladdened the heart of the knowledgeable prophet

3. Narrated by Ibn Idris, my master who
Followed a methodology he was content with

4. With his chain of narration from trusted
Shuyukh who refuted the lies of the foolish

5. And its meaning is that you said seek
Favors from those of beautiful faces

6. And I have not seen a face more beautiful
Than your generous face so grant me what I hope for

7. Your status is mighty and none
Who hoped in the status of the Lord has been disappointed
