16. You are the one who raised the position of the eminent
And your feeble, bare, abject enemy

17. You are the one who gave us sight after blindness
So by the light of your guidance we are led and distinguished

18. You are the one assigned intercession for mankind
Flying while you are the facilitator on the path

19. You attained the most exalted spiritual stations
And for the like of your glory stands affirmation

20. And you feared God with the greatest fear
So for your fragrant, spacious chest is buzzing

21. And you advised when you offered a healing advice
In which is no weakness or incapacity

22. Until the religion was straightened and pillars were erected for it
Projecting into the horizons

23. So the penitent reverent drew near
And the losing outcast distanced and recoiled

24. Your conquering troops crushed their arrogant sultan
Chosroes, and his hoarded wealth was spent

25. And for your party the most high, until the
Tyrant departs and the coin and bracelet are banned

26. And soon the Guardian will establish for you
A seat in which for you are proximity and honor

27. I complain to you of the audacity of a soul
That inclines to error and is resolute against guidance

28. Deceived by the deception of a world whose honey is poison
And which appears as pearls while it is old

29. It tempted the hearts of people while in its prime
And seduced them with its tricks while aged

30. I am captive in its snares, constrained by its shackles
I am forced to it, subject to its pulling

31. So help a weak one who, by you, guards against its schemes
That we may melt its frozen places in hearts

32. In you I seek refuge, cry out for help, and hope
That by your status I will succeed in the return
