1. Arise, hasten, before the biers are lifted
The racetrack, with a loincloth of coarse fabric

2. And contemplate the creation of the sky, for in it
Are ample lessons for the inquisitive

3. How it stands without pillars or planning
With meanings embroidered in its decoration

4. Adorned with stars that bloom in it
Like lanterns or like lines of embroidery

5. Glorious is He who created them in seven layers
With no defect in their creation

6. He made the two lights in it as lamps
And protected it from the constant spying of devils

7. And think upon His creation of the earth, look
In wonder at its carpeted bed

8. He sowed in it all kinds of living beings
And all that flies on wings

9. And types of cattle with pleasant smells
Grazing freely and wild beasts roaming

10. And sorts of plants, palms and vines
Cultivated or growing wild

11. Then He anchored mountains in it till the Day
You see them like ostrich nests

12. And He sends the winds as heralds
With clouds flashing lightning

13. And covered the earth after its desolation
With fresh green plants and grass

14. And prepared orbiting planets moving
Above the lively, boiling sea

15. And guided us after blindness so we revived
With the glorious, chosen Prophet

16. The pure one from Khalil and from Shem
Son of Noah and Cainan son of Enosh

17. He was, at the Flood, companion of Noah
And Khalil the approved, with the fire of Cush

18. And he has on the Day of Resurrection, the raising of the banner of praise
For he is the leader of the armies

19. And he is for the nation the bridge over the path
A slip for the jostled

20. All who are not aided by him, their hands then slip
Into the fire, with no escape

21. And he is the interceding savior of the disobedient
From the depths of the blazing abyss

22. Ahmad the Hashemite, best of God's creation
A pure servant, without any impurity

23. Collector of virtues, of praised conduct
Some of his traditions rouse armies

24. Opener of goodness, supported by angels
And he is mighty, above the throne

25. Who fought the deniers until they repented
And submitted like a crushed nose

26. So Islam was firmly established in East and West
Until it rose above the mountains of Sherish

27. O savior of the anguished, dispeller of calamities, guide of the confused dullard
My sins have bound and fettered me

28. And desire has struck me with a feathered arrow
The two recorders have confined my words and deeds

29. In an illuminated, decorated book
Then what recourse do I have but You

30. So make piety my garment and feather
And grant me sincerity in the hour of death

31. And intimacy in the grave's enclosure
