1. O Messenger of Allah, O best of those sent
The Merciful chose you as the final prophet

2. And O you whose face when the ardent lover sees
Good tidings for him even if he's asleep

3. Have mercy on my weakness with your noble vision
For seeing you sheds sins however extreme

4. And I'm not worthy to witness your beauty
Yet still a poor man asking mercy, kind one

5. And this is Rabi blessed among months
You appeared in its auspices, arriving

6. Allah adorned you with majesty and might
And girded you with awe, drawn sword in hand

7. So grant me in it the raiment of success and favor
By your vision, O you who ruled with truth

8. And ask the Lord of the Throne to aid me
Support from Allah when I am lost

9. And ask for protection and righteousness for my family
That they may be virtuous and noble
