1. Do you see when I come to you and look upon your face
And stand erect in your house giving thanks

2. Delighting in the beauty of your face, listening
To the murmuring brooks rejoicing, cross over and express joy

3. For I am thirsty and with you is a fountain
Of abundant goodness overflowing and gushing forth

4. Indeed I love no dwellings but those of the Lord my God
And nothing is more precious or sweet to behold

5. Blessed are the dwellers in your house always
Their praise unceasing through the ages

6. O Lord I hope for a day when
You will welcome me to your courts above

7. That I may behold the light of your face revealed
And your glorious tent may shade me

8. And you would stand at my right hand as my guardian
Before my eyes you were always there to watch

9. I ask you come to me and stand by my side
To prepare for you a dwelling in my heart secretly

10. And say “Here is my rest, I am pleased with it
Forevermore, abide here do not depart”

11. And you have made this heart your resting place
Openly dwell in it and proclaim it loudly

12. And make my heart a pure dwelling for you
Blameless on your path to cross over

13. And you would be the portion of my heart so that
In any love but love of you, it would deny

14. And my wings would flutter with joy over you
My heart praising and my limbs giving thanks

15. And the gates of holiness would open before
The bride comes and they close behind her

16. This is the house in which is contained
Goodness beyond all describing and recounting

17. This is my hope and this is my utmost goal
And this is what occupies my thoughts

18. This is my wish, then this is my request
This is my desire which I choose

19. In it I attain all the good that I hope for
And more than I can imagine

20. And in it I behold every wondrous beauty
And there a splendor beyond radiance captivates me

21. And there are blessings beyond all telling
For they cannot be enumerated or confined

22. And there the hosts of angels veil
Their faces in awe of the tremendous dread

23. And there the seraphim each moment
Sing a new hymn of praise to astound

24. And there the cherubim all cry out together
“Holy are you O God, O Mighty Lord”

25. And there is the Holy of Holies, the sacred temple
Followed by the Most Holy Place of blazing light

26. And there the Trinity reveals its shining splendor
The sun seems dark compared to its light

27. And there the Lamb who was slain for the world
Has become the conquering and victorious king

28. And there is the Fountain of Life and Source
Of overflowing abundance never ending

29. And there from your fountain of goodness I draw
Water that cleanses my heart and makes it pure

30. And washes my hands with purity when
I stand beside your brilliant altar giving thanks

31. Then my eyes and heart are satisfied and filled
When I smell your glory being revealed
