1. Cross the wilderness and the sea of deserts boldly
He who crossed the sea of deserts succeeded gloriously

2. Risk yourself for dangers and throw yourself at them
Taking risks is praiseworthy even if it fails

3. He who dared dangers attained by them glory
A perilous glory in which he ascended and became high

4. Mount on determination a docile, well-mannered she-camel
Whose every letter is tamed, fearing no skulls

5. An old she-camel, tall, fleet
Noble, swift like the blowing wind

6. Mostly crosses various breeds
Ignorant of pain

7. Tethered softly, trotting rhythmically
Its saddle cloth shines beautifully

8. Slender, gloriously created, beautifully faced
Marked by beauty

9. Her legs rise up, her tendons strengthen
No falling in her gait, no stumbling

10. She walks on burning pebbles in every wasteland
Never fearing the fire of pebbles and sparks in her stride

11. She flies like a bird but without wings
Outpacing the eagle, the falcon and the ostrich

12. She dives with her rider like a raging storm
As if she eats up the plains and hills

13. You fancy her, from afar, a mountain
Walking like smiling lightning in the dark

14. She takes a man to a distant land
And reunites parted lovers

15. And gets a man, after hardship
To his goal, cool under the blazing sun

16. Release her into the chest of the desert leisurely
Oh, the success of one who opened the chest of deserts

17. Head to Akka, abode of jihad, likewise
The abode of Saud, halt at its gates reverently

18. The abode wherein is glory, nobility with honor
And fame and generosity, beyond seas and rivers

19. The fortress of Sham and its people who
Always found refuge in it, lasting and protected

20. The Surahs of Victory and the Manifest Conquest are
Like slogans on its walls, decreed by the heaven’s aid

21. The abode that is the forest of the roaring lion
Where even lions bow to kiss its threshold

22. The light of courage shines on his forehead
What lion that sees it would not despair?

23. His prey appears; the lion of the evil ones
Who hosts the beasts of wilderness with his flesh generously

24. With his sword he blows their skulls in the air skywards
As if they sought elevation and the highest heaven

25. He shears their necks with his sharp blade
As if, in his wrath, he sheared but a pen

26. How he pierces ten with his slim sword, stringing them
Into a unique and peerless necklace

27. Had he thrown his spear at one who stood leaning
He would have nailed him to where he threw

28. The gallant hero plunging into the tumult and war
Diving in while the winds of war rage

29. And the lions clash loudly
You see him like the moon under clouds appearing

30. His sword lightning smiling in the blanket of darkness
If he charged at the forefront of army cavalry

31. He would rout the enemy’s army which would disperse
Lord of glory and vigilant lion who

32. Guarded over the egg of Islam wherever he protected
Even lions would fear his breath

33. Sagging of nostril should they perceive his scent
He is the minister whose ministry

34. Became the full moon among its stars
The resolute ruler whose religion clothed

35. Rule with wisdom and judgement
The noble master whose glory adorns

36. The garments of glory, magnifying it
Crown of sublimity wherein the ages are ennobled

37. And ennobled wherever his servants went
All the noble chiefs served his elevation

38. And good fortune served until it too became service
The bright, luminous face whose light

39. Dispels darknesses and gloomy shadows
The pure race who ascended lineage

40. And apparent virtue who attained generosity
The unmatched essence who forms necklaces’ center

41. And essence of glory not to be divided
Perfect of beauty in manners and etiquette

42. And praiseworthy in nature and deeds
Good repute, auspicious direction, who

43. Through his famed courage shattered lions
An affluent sea which overflows with dew and generosity

44. Vanquishing poverty with his gifts
Most generous whose rains never cease

45. Nor tires one day of charity and giving
Master Al Nadbah Abdullah who the ministry took pride in

46. And by whom its greatness multiplied
Among his noble and generous people none

47. Matches or resembles him, neither Arabs nor non
By God, by God, he has no peer

48. And I speak true when I swear
Oh minister whose kindness abounded

49. And whose gift of boons adorned our necks
You obliged us to recite your eulogies

50. With Surat Al Hamd which we never tire of
May your army be ever victorious by the will of its Lord

51. Making the enemy army taste captivity and anguish
Like Jilqaq’s army, captured doubtlessly

52. Yours made it like sheep rounded up
Brought to Akka wearing the garb of disgrace

53. Fearing death and nonexistence
Treat them with your customary kindness, oh embodiment of compassion

54. And favor them by setting all of them free generously
For grace is gratitude for what grace you have shown

55. And you thank God for the blessings He gave
The heavens’ blossoms all beautiful like them

56. Refined by the highbred with the utmost etiquette
Culled from the prime of beauty and charm

57. Through their eloquence beauty harmonizes
Else beauty with eloquence would not harmonize

58. They came to you happy young singing girls
Tokens traced beautifully on their faces

59. Seeking the edge of your robe to kiss humbly
For the highest honor is to those who kissed it

60. Welcome them, oh embodiment of welcoming compassion
For God shows mercy to those who have mercy

61. And may you remain in enduring nobility
By God protected and fortified

62. Supported by Him, and through Him victorious over enemies
And remain, by God, avenging those who envy

63. The birds did not chant, nor did gazelles roam
Dawn welcomed beautifully, melodiously

64. Nor did dawn tell any rebel glory lies
Cross the wilderness and the sea of deserts boldly
