١. لَمّا تَبَخَّرَ ذو الجَمالِ بِعَنبَر
وَقَفَ الدّخان لَدى الجَبينِ الأَزهَرِ
2. They thought it was his scent, but I said "Nay
What you smell is but the perfume's smoke"
٢. ظَنّوا عِذاراً قلت لا لَكِنَّ ما
شِمتُم بِوَجنَتِهِ دُخانُ العَنبَرِ
