1. This world is but an abode of demise
In it there's no permanence for occurrences

2. We were given in it a disappearing sun
It wore for evanescence a dress of concealment

3. The magnificent minister, the best of kings
Is named Ahmad the Butcher

4. A vanished lion for the religion, the best supporter
The best invader, warrior against the infidels

5. Whoever has in jihad a praiseworthy renown
Like the sun of daytime, absent is his fame

6. Paradise has called him near gardens
So he inclined toward the Most Forgiving's mercy

7. And God has granted him closeness
And companionship with the Chosen One

8. And palaces of paradise, so equip
He has attained them and gained the best neighborhood
