1. Indeed this aqueduct is greatly good
Its water is horses, flowing smooth
١. إِنّ ذا السّلسبيلَ خَيرٌ عظيمٌ
ماؤُهُ خِيلَ كَالزُّلال وريئا
2. So Solomon rightly built it in his time
Happy is he who built it, happily
٢. فَسُليمانُ الوقت حقّاً بَناهُ
فَهَنيئاً لِمَن بَناهُ هَنيئا
3. Come let us go to a fragrant meadow
With a hand to drink, happily clearly
٣. فَهَلموا أَرّخت نَحوَ رَحيقٍ
بِيَدٍ وَاِشرَبوا هَنيئاً مَريئا
