1. The sky appears to intensify its blueness
And its beauty knows no change
١. إِنّ السّماءَ بَدَت تَشتدُّ زُرقتها
وَلَم يَكُن حُسنها يَعروهُ تَحويلُ
2. As if when the stars pass through it
It were a sea in which lamps have swum
٢. كَأَنّها حينَما تَسري النّجوم بِها
بَحرٌ لَقَد سَبحت فيهِ القَناديلُ
