1. May God make eternal the justice of this time,
And endow it with ever pleasant nights.

2. And illuminate its days continuously,
With a minister devoid of any blemish.

3. God's worshipper, the sun of every minister,
In the sky of glory attained the highest station.

4. An ocean of wisdom surging with justice forever,
And piety and guidance flowing through it.

5. He demolished injustice from its very foundation,
When he intended to eliminate tyranny.

6. And unsheathed the sword of justice as a sharp blade against it,
So the demolisher of buildings became audacious against it.

7. After Al-Ashajj’s justice, we never heard
Of justice like that of this one in any time.

8. He stood for the truth among the subjects, erasing
Falsehood that had existed before this time.

9. He does not miss any of their affairs out of carelessness,
For his kindness, he does not neglect them.

10. He dealt with them by the law of the best Prophet,
The noblest of messengers, the mercy from the Merciful.

11. He supported the religion, the religion of the best Messenger,
Sincere in purpose, complete in faith.

12. He suppressed disbelief, weakening its forces,
By the demise of immorality and oppression.

13. An ocean of patience from which patience gushed forth,
And with patience, he is ever composed.

14. The caravans carried him along as they travelled through him,
So he spread through horizons and universes.

15. May God reward him, a forebearing, revered man,
Who does not perceive himself as a lion among foxes.

16. Anger provokes him only for his One Lord,
The One, the Judge of judges.

17. It is as if the Prophet instructed him when
He said: “Do not get angry, at first or second.”

18. The rain clouds of generosity, their rain is generosity pouring forth,
When ambitions made it overflow like a deluge.

19. A sea of generosity, indeed its calmness,
Below the harbor, two pouring springs.

20. O may God reward him, an eminent minister,
The glories of peers have presented him.

21. He ascended the pinnacle of glory with an honor,
In which he sculpted pride to soaring.

22. He has no pride in crowns in this world,
Indeed in it lies the pride of crowns.

23. His pride is only in knowledge, forbearance,
And justice spreading from east to west.

24. And fear of the Majestic, Exalted,
And righteousness and obedience to the Merciful.

25. And asceticism from what is in the hands of mortals,
And chastity witnessed clearly.

26. Unique in the world, singular in the times,
With praiseworthy traits and sublime qualities.

27. And will and ambition in which he rises high,
And a resolve reaching the celestial spheres.

28. And determination in what he intends with wisdom,
And an opinion characterized by perfect artistry.

29. And kindness, and subtle natural disposition,
And noble traits and beauty.

30. Adorned with awe, dignified with perfection,
And beautiful words you’d think pearls threaded.

31. The like of it virgins’ necks have never attained,
And a reputation among people, praiseworthy,

32. Like musk spreading in all the countries,
And mention of good at all times,

33. And praise recited by every tongue,
And plunging into fierce battles,

34. If he appeared wandering in them, the bold
Would flee from him in dread.

35. They would swear, fingers entwined,
That they never came to the battlefield.

36. How many ministers boast of the sword,
And pride in spears and Indian blades.

37. O most glorious, most stately one, who of
The pinnacle of glory has assumed the finest position.

38. You never left the time, a rising sun
Ascending the sky and the sublime horizon.

39. With good fortune you always attain eternity,
And it in you, the times have favor.

40. Product of a thought surpassing heavenly maidens.
So turn to it approvingly,

41. It has the utmost favor before you.
And live forever without any injustice,

42. With assurance from our Lord and safety.
No garden has adorned itself with the jewel of flowers,

43. Nor have the bride-like branches bent.
No opening has called you to victory,

44. And long life, lasting the time’s duration.
And well-balanced temperament at all times,

45. And attaining wishes matching hopes.
None have said sincerely and devoutly,

46. “May God make eternal the justice of this time.”
