1. The sky's arc is ringed with clouds
And the soul has revealed its yearning for it
١. قَوسُ السّماءِ بِهِ السّحابُ مُطوَّق
وَالنّفسُ قَد أَبدَت إِلَيهِ شوقَها
2. The clouds are peerless, as though
The clouds had taken their rings from a dove
٢. ما لِلسّحابِ مِثاله فَكَأنَّما
أَخَذَ السّحابُ مِنَ الحَمامَةِ طوقَها
