2. Ahmad al-Barbari the Imam, unique
Among peers in prose and verse

3. When the Benevolent called him, he obediently responded
So He clothed him in the garment of honor

4. And granted him acceptance and the companionship of Taha
His grandfather, the noble Prophet

5. In the gardens of eternity he settled, residing
With a good life near the Merciful

6. How spacious is his abode there, how vast
Wherein are maidens that delight the dweller

7. And therein domes embroidered with pearls
And palaces in a Garden of bliss and bounty
