1. Oh Blessed be the hand of order that
Arranged it with skill and adorned it with care
١. يا بِركَةً يدُ النّظام أَتقنَت
تَنظيمَها وَأَحسنَت تَضميخَها
2. Suleiman the Magnanimous built it on high
Till in the heavens it rivaled Mars,
٢. قَد شادَها الشّهمُ سُلَيمان العُلى
حَتّى عَلَت مِنَ السّما مرّيخَها
3. And when I sought in verse to sing its praise
I was told: date it and relate its story fair
٣. وَحينَما رُمتُ بِنَظمي مَدحَها
قَد قيلَ أَرِّخ وَأَجِدْ تَأريخَها
