1. O Lord, reward our Solomon with goodness,
For he is the eye of the honourable ministers.

2. He built for us an easy path,
With its sweet water a cure for the sick.

3. And how many such cisterns has he built for us,
May God allow him to reside in the Abode of Peace.

4. So, O God, make good that which has passed,
I have recorded it, rather conclude with a good ending.
