1. They said a gazelle's beauty was superb
Though not concealed was her grace observed
١. قيلَ لي ظَبيُ الفَيافي حَسَن
حُسنُهُ لَم يَكُن بِالمُحتَجبِ
2. I said "Between all creatures that roam
None fairer than she, though with tail upturned"
٢. قُلتُ لَكن هوَ ما بَينَ الوَرى
حَسن لَو طالَ ذَيلَ الشّنبِ
