Attained for the followers excellence in emulation

4. The jurist, the hadith scholar, the unique one in memorization
The truthful, the precise, the perceptive, the aware

5. The era’s trustee, memorizer, and expert
Precise, disciplined, and most highly regarded

6. Possessor of the famous school unrivaled
Like the bright morning sun without dispute

7. Pole of succor and knower who has reached the heights
An ocean of knowledge with no shore in sight

8. He came to settle on the coast of the sea
Attaining therein a lofty abode

9. The fortress of Beirut, its high wall, without him
It would have collapsed into ruin and loss

10. My master, cast a glance at your servants
Whom worries have laid down in distress

11. An ordeal has befallen him, overwhelming
Through you he hopes for swift relief

12. And the servant of the Most Kind has appeared destitute
In your noble protection and humble embrace

13. So help him - never, my Master, never
Should he be seen defeated or deprived

14. Upon you be the pleasure - the pleasure of my God
May it continue through time without interruption

15. No breeze has blown, nor leaf stirred
Above a branch, with fairer compositions
