1. Its canes, their buds electrified
Made excellent by God, their paradise strengthened
١. قَصباتُه أَبزازُها مِن كَهربا
أَحسِنْ بِها قوّى الإِلَهُ جَنانَها
2. Like nursing mothers pleased with their suckling babe
Can you not see, it nursed him with its smoke
٢. كَالأُمَّهاتِ المُرضِعاتِ رضيعَها
أَفَلا تَراها أَرضَعَته دُخانَها
