1. Rejoice, O Muhammad, and glad tidings to the one who bestows favors,
O pearl of glory, the highest belong to him like shells,

2. And I came to you having achieved the goal, apologizing
With the sincerity of succession from an honorable predecessor,

3. And the nightingale of good news and prosperity in various arts
From joy it sings unlike one who hides,

4. And the dawn of our happiness shone, dispelling the gloom of distress,
From the horizon of purity it appears, better than ever unveiled,

5. And long have you hoped for a male heir,
Until from despair you called "Oh my regrets!",

6. Rejoice, O brother of glory, in a cub you have loved,
He is a gift from the Greatest of Givers,

7. He has come and good fortune, a light above his forehead,
Like the crescent of the moon appearing unobscured,

8. And he attained the like of you when they chronicled him as protection,
And won glory that clothed him in the garb of honor,

9. And God loves him with a life without end,
And may he remain in the care of the Lord of the Throne forevermore.
