1. God made this era beautiful
And quenched it with his delightful water

2. Where He showed us the sun of grace
Rising with the highest over all creation

3. Ahmad is an ocean of grace and generosity
The apple of the era's dignity and pride

4. Unique in this age with no peer or equal
So the age is free of any other

5. A scion of glorious and generous ancestry
A neighbor yet a stranger in his nobility

6. Supreme of the age, beyond the supremely virtuous
As he rose, the marvel of the time

7. Ornate compositions serve him
With meanings that have no precedents

8. Praising his glories with well-crafted verses
Enchanting us, adorned with these verses

9. What an eloquent and articulate poet!
Stringing pearls of verse like a necklace

10. Noble, with Beirut proud of him
Boasting of him over all other cities

11. Marvelous, bringing wonders in his work
Beyond the wonders of Hamadan's poets

12. Joining canon and truth within them
As they shine in his luminous firmament

13. There he established the scales of justice
And we saw him holding the balanced scales

14. A sun of knowledge, as if all knowledge
Emanated when he appeared, radiant celestial sphere
