١. لَقَد تَبَدّى الصّبحُ مِن شَرقِهِ
فَاِحرِص أَيا لَيلُ عَلى نَفسِكا
2. O night, be certain decay has come
For gray hair has appeared on your head
٢. يا لَيلُ أَيقِن بِحُلولِ الرّدى
فَقَد تَبدَّى الشّيبُ في رَأسِكا
