1. Brother of knowledge and understanding, few in this age can match you
You who are congratulated on a wedding you have decided upon

2. Wherein all creation and angels give you joy
May it be completed in cheer, purity, and ready success

3. You, bride of excellence, adorned with its pearls
From which necklaces are fashioned for you

4. Full moon of guidance and righteousness in every path
With its light the roads are illuminated

5. Sun of the enlightened in every gathering
By it the follower and wayfarer are rightly guided

6. Keenest of the wise in every dilemma
To his deep discernment thoughts are led

7. Hero of researchers in every battle
In this the arenas bear him witness

8. One like you in this age is rare for a doctrine
By the like of you in this age Mālik takes pride

9. My lord, pillar of glory in noble lineage
From you the brilliants have gleamed for him

10. I congratulate you on this joyous, delightful wedding
And give glad tidings, for in it is bounty, by Allah's grace

11. That, and the date, in it his good fortune
You have attained congratulations in it, blessings upon you

12. May you remain in Allah's protection, so long as dew moistened
The blossoms' cheeks, and they are laughing

13. As long as a leaf has unfurled on its branch
As long as stars shine and others set

14. As long as victory has called you my lord, my master
Brother of knowledge and understanding, few can match you
