1. O you endowed with patience, O sun of ministry, O lord of valor, weariness cannot subdue you
You complained of the fierce lion's pain, may my Lord grant you wellness and no ills afflict you

2. God cares for you, gently attending to you, no misfortunes have touched you
Thanks be to God who has now shown you mercy, as He has cured you, and weakness and illness have passed

3. Thus joy has filled our hearts, and therein is bliss,
And good tidings have come to you, bringing what has illuminated Sidon and Akka

4. Thus Beirut, for it is attributed in history to you, pride for it, its affection has wrapped it
So too Tripoli the Fragrant, it has not ceased in that country to increase your lights

5. That is the glad tidings which have come informing you of what the corners of the universe have shone with
That appointing Sidon along with Tripoli to you this year, and the appointment remains

6. Bestowed on you as a gift and honor, from the bounty of the lofty, brilliant state
Of high repute, may God strengthen its authority, and may elevation through it last eternally

7. From our praised Sultan, its white days have not ceased to flourish and blossom
So too its state has not ceased through time to grow stronger and no fading weakens it

8. It remains everlasting, not ephemeral, and no annihilation diminishes and destroys it
The companion of victory and then conquest accompanies it, enemies die of fear of its renown

9. Since healing came, and God granted us health, good optimism is proper, no mistakes mar it,
That your life will be long and capacious, lasting eternally with prolongment

10. Its eternity guides us, and this permanence indicates eternity
And it pleased the Chosen One, my Lord's prayers be upon him as long as water flows

11. Rejoice at this, O Solomon of the age, and relax, the distress is gone and illness and woe have passed
You remain relieved in spirit, unharmed, and no misfortune reaches you my lord

12. A healthy body, well, seeing no illness, and no ills approach your companions
A long life without weakness or old age, blessed with pleasant living, favors do not abandon you

13. At ease of mind, clear of thought, sound of opinion, judgments do not fail you
Lofty in high status and noble rank, with glory it carries you to ascendancy

14. Of praised repute, fortunate, not despairing, enemies cannot prolong their hostility
In a state built on piety and justice, patience and giving have erected its pillars

15. It will be like the sun through time in states, its brilliance shining upon it through the ages
In the constellations of happiness it appears radiant through time, and justice its balance, and glory its reward

16. It remains for ages as we take shelter in it, and our comfort in it lasts through time
No star has shone, no beloved's branches have swayed, and no leaves rustled with joy,
