Its founder raised it high.

2. He built it for God sincerely,
Success in good, he came to try.

3. Ali the valiant, the exalted soul,
Seeking reward, herein his hope's whole.

4. So he made a mosque, gathering good,
Its state says "Listen as you should:

5. Strive to pray here, hasten in pace,
Retreat here always, plead for grace.

6. Struggle your soul in prayers to train,
O you faithful, bow down and bend!"
