1. I praise Allah, my God
Who has blessed us with His bounty

2. The blessing of Islam as a religion
We are through it the best nation

3. And my prayers and peace be upon
A Prophet who came with mercy

4. He who erased the darkness of misguidance
with the light of his guidance

5. O you who ask me
Seeking a significant decree

6. For smelling a rose’s fragrance
The Law has permitted its inhale

7. And for kissing a cheek
Even if lawful to kiss it

8. And for one who admires a gazelle
Even if lawful to embrace it

9. This indeed is the Law of Taha
It is truth and it is wisdom

10. And for the people of passion there is a law
The enraptured know its ruling

11. Indeed this much is enough
For you in this matter
