1. Oh Abu Bakr, my anger towards you
And my love for you is true and honest
١. أَبا بَكرٍ عَلاكَ الغيظُ مِنّي
وَفيكَ مَوَدَّتي حَقٌّ وَصِدقُ
2. So forgive me, for you are most deserving of forgiveness
And a believer's anger is but a fleeting flash
٢. فَصفوَاً إِنّك الأَحرى بِصَفحٍ
وَغَيظُ المُؤمِنِ المَحمودِ بَرْقُ
