To embrace them as a loving father would
١. اِشتاقَتِ الأَرضُ لِأَولادِها
لِضَمّهم ضَمَّ الأبِ الودودِ
2. So when they tarried, she sent them a cold wind
That drove them swiftly to their graves
٢. فَأَرسَلَت لمّا تَوانَوا بارداً
فَساقَهم حالاً إِلى اللّحودِ
