With your support, it is kept intact

2. Whosoever was blessed to attain it
With your attainment, is blessed

3. How many a hand that is not withheld
And bounty that is not stinted

4. You have won my gratitude and pointed
To a love intermingled with the soul

5. The generous, virtuous one does not feel secure
Lest wealth, after generosity, lead to neglect

6. The garment is sewn and I have no excuse
To don the garment without buttons

7. Especially as they are, by the rule of affinity
Among the terms of your appointment

8. How could I when your morals are agreeable
Accompany them while in deprivation

9. May time not restrain my hand from bounty
As it is outstretched toward your generosity
