1. For the sake of the Chosen One, the best of creation
His intercession is never refused

2. The companion of the Ascension, the Crown, and the One
Whose light dispels darkness and gloom

3. He came while disbelief was raging with its armies
So disbelief tasted the pain of doves

4. And Islam rose to the highest heavens
While disbelief receded and peace reigned

5. The lights of guidance shone in the universe
With Allah’s Messenger, the lamp dispelling darkness

6. O Messenger of Allah, my longing is abundant
And from afar, my heart is aflame

7. O Messenger of Allah, my goal is but a glance
That will extinguish with its coolness the fire of passion

8. I see the chamber and the garden
And the towering luminous one at the Gate of Peace

9. I see myself raising my hands in supplication
Before the hands of the Chosen One, protector of oaths

10. I have good thoughts of you, best of creation
And my hope is to pilgrimage to the Sacred House

11. I see myself humble in prayer
By the Station of Gabriel, at the curtains

12. So if I attain my goal and purpose
I will triumph in honor and achieve my wishes

13. And if I visit the side of the Chosen Prophet
Peace be upon the universe and all within

14. O Messenger of Allah, I have longing
And preoccupation, yearning and infatuation

15. Indeed my life has passed and vanished
And my youth fades and withers away

16. Old age laughs at my head so I weep
Over myself like a crying boy

17. Lord, enable me to attain my wish before
The matter twists and disease afflicts me

18. Lord, I am utterly poor and deprived
And Your bounty comes down like clouds

19. Lord, fulfill my purpose O Self-Sufficient One
So I see those tents at the plain

20. Lord, I have none but the intercession of the Chosen One
No dear friend or intercessor among people

21. Love of Taha took my heart before
I leave the pulpit and stop breastfeeding

22. It flows in my veins as
The full moon flows in the wings of night

23. Lord, I hope for pardon and bounty from You
With the Messenger of Allah and a good conclusion

24. So blessings upon him whenever
Musk fragrance blows or the full moon shines
