1. O son of the Prophet and a part of al-Zahra
You have an exalted position like the brightest stars

2. And the secret of your essence has a prophetic fragrance
Through which you revived the dead to life

3. And you have miracles, through whose light
The oppressive darkness vanished from Egypt

4. O grandson of the best of Messengers, who has
The highest gifts from the white hand

5. This is the refuge of those seeking protection and the shelter
Of those seeking the master of martyrs

6. This is the sanctuary of al-Hussein, whoever seeks refuge
In his protection, succeeds and attains bliss

7. No distressed person visits you in your courtyard
Except that he returns with good tidings

8. And if a lost person seeks you in the wilderness
You remove from him the garment of adversity

9. Whoever desires to attain his wishes in the two abodes
Let him persist in visiting without boredom

10. If not for al-Hussein in Egypt overseeing its people
Its landmarks would have been erased by calamity

11. However through him and his family it rose
To the peak of pride and height of sublimity

12. Indeed al-Hussein is the son of the daughter of Muhammad
And the grandfather is the origin of the happiness of sons

13. The Prophet's family are the most honorable people
And by loving them incurable diseases are cured

14. Through them the protected one succeeds for they are
Ships of salvation and refuge for the oppressed

15. Gabriel serves and accompanies their grandfather
On the night of Ascension and Journey

16. Who other than them did God purify their home
From the filth and impurities of enemies

17. The light of prophecy shining in their sanctuary
Like the sun gleaming above water

18. Kings bow to them out of humility
For humility is the adornment of the great

19. They all derive glory for they are
The people of generosity and source of giving

20. Whoever does not visit the Prophet's family with devotion
To the Chosen one remains far and deprived

21. And misses the intercession of their grandfather
Remaining in humiliation and prolonged adversity

22. For God’s sake visit them and do not listen
To the misguided people and gang of fools

23. Fulfill the fruits of virtues in their sanctuary
And enjoy the lush greenery

24. For God has commanded affection towards them
Equally for martyrs and living

25. Through them you became proud people of Egypt so receive
From them the illuminating radiant light

26. O grandson of the best of creation look upon us
With the gaze of the most generous

27. Bestow upon us gifts from your hands
And honor us with the garment of bliss

28. Take care of the king of afflictions and his
Loyal family and people

29. Look upon those who entered the sanctuary and sought rain
The pleasure of authorities and religious scholars

30. Show me kindness and care with a gaze
And make your great kindness my reward

31. Through you the desperate attain their wants
And through you lasting favors endure

32. You remain the most hospitable host to visitors
And you have the best contentment from your Master

33. May God send blessings upon your grandfather
The perfect one, his family, companions and caliphs

34. The light of the Chosen one's brilliance
