1. To the pole of the circle, Sir Al-Durdir Qutb
An eye for those whose protector brought joy, watching

2. For him are the open plains of the most generous
Filled with generosity and benevolence

3. This is Abu Al-Barkat and the knowledge which
Obtained the highest and most splendid meanings

4. This is Al-Durdir, heir of Malik
In his knowledge, the souls of people are purified

5. This is Abu Al-Mudda the abundant aid, if
One with sorrow calls him, he finds him responding

6. The khalwatiyya have stops along the way
But they miss the flowers of this meadow

7. If he sleeps from walking the spiritual path, he sleeps
While the eyes of this pole remain awake

8. Until he drank from the seven rivers
With the soul and basil, remaining fragrant

9. He drank and quenched thirst, then delighted whoever came
With the drink of secrets and pleased their minds

10. After the family of Mustafa and Al-Shafi’i
He received him like a full moon in the Cairo sky

11. Who is it that does not receive his gifts?
His gifts are the pouring rain clouds

12. Whoever came seeking refuge through him
The leaders' determination bowed down before him

13. Cursed are the hands of those who did not visit this sanctuary
Filled with abundant and copious gifts

14. In it the poles found refuge and protected themselves around it
Like the moon amidst the shining stars

15. Look and you will find around the shrine imams
Whose faces were radiant faces

16. This is Al-Sab’awi and his son next to him
Or do you not see those abundant seas

17. Through them seek intercession to the Generous Master
For them, through the overflowing grace, the soul attends

18. I whispered to you in the grave, and that is my creed
I see your hearts moved by that

19. Leave the words of the negators, for their ways
Have been repressed, and they lost in trade

20. While you see them blinded by their ignorance
And misguidance, as if asleep at night

21. Whoever visits the thresholds of the generous
Will no doubt be honored, and the proofs are visible

22. And if a transgressor ever attacks you
The swords of the people of the realm will cripple him

23. Take up the swords from the people of the realm, and slaughter
The slaughtering of the wicked, rather the corrupt gangs

24. They rejoice in a blessing from their Lord
Through it they gained pride and that suffices as a source of pride

25. O Ahmad Al-Durdir, we are in the sanctuary
And to you we came, with our tears flowing

26. We came seeking aid at your birthday
At which you revived the rites of the generous hands

27. So look upon us and upon those present and tell us
For you is acceptance, and you remain in memory

28. And rejoice through me in good care
In this life and the house of the hereafter

29. I remain for visitors like a house of pilgrimage
And upon you are scattered the flowers of satisfaction

30. May God send blessings upon the Prophet and his family
And the companions, the owners of the brilliant hands
