1. I spread my palms before the Generous Lord
And to spread one's palm before the generous is enough

2. Why would I not extend my hand to Him
When His subtle kindness has spread throughout existence

3. The treasuries of His knowledge have overflowed with grace
And from Him flows generosity coupled with kindness

4. So do not send back my hand empty, for verily
I have complained to you of none but my own weakness
